  8. About Agile HTML Editor
  9. -----------------------

  11. Agile HTML Editor opens up new and easier ways of working with HTML.
  12. It understands all the HTML elements and attributes so you don't
  13. have to.
  14.  
  15. Agile is regularly updated with support for the latest HTML standards
  16. and browsers. This version includes support for all tags and attributes
  17. in:
  18.  - HTML 4.0, HTML 3.2 and HTML 2.0
  19.  - Netscape Navigator 4.0, 3.0 and 2.0 (including Communicator 4.0)
  20.  - Internet Explorer 4.0, 3.0 and 2.0.

  22. Right click on any HTML tag to see and edit the attributes relevant
  23. to the HTML standard you have chosen to use. Full help is provided
  24. for attribute meanings and values, right where you need it, when
  25. editing the tag and attribute values.

  27. Agile also has official HTML references built into it and supplied
  28. in HTML format. You have instant access to full details of any tag
  29. or attribute. The official W3C HTML 3.2 specification and Microsoft's
  30. Internet Explorer 3 HTML Reference are included in full, both fully
  31. indexed and cross referenced.

  107. PLATFORMS

  110. Agile runs under Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51 and above.
  111.  
  112. DISK SPACE
  113.  
  114. Agile will take up to 5MB of disk space when installed, depending
  115. on how many of the required system files are already present on your
  116. system.
  117.  
  118. Approximately 7MB of space will be required during the installation.

  121. INSTALLING AGILE
  122. ----------------
  123.  
  124. Agile installs into "C:\Program Files\Agile", or an alternative
  125. directory which you may specify. It may also install some additional
  126. files into your Windows directories if they are not already present.
  127.  
  128. During installation, Agile records details of all files and other
  129. changes made to your system, such as registy entries, and provides
  130. an uninstall program so that the entire installation can be removed
  131. easily.
  132.  
  133. Installing Agile is simple, but the precise details depend on the
  134. form in which you have obtained it. Agile can be obtained on disk,
  135. in partially compressed form, or downloaded in a compressed .ZIP
  136. archive file.
  137.  
  138. ZIP ARCHIVE
  139.  
  140. If you download the software you will receive it in a .ZIP archive
  141. file which must be extracted before you can install Agile. You must
  142. extract the software from the archive into a temporary directory,
  143. using a program such as PKUNZIP (for DOS) or WinZip (for Windows).
  144.  
  145. It is beyond the scope of this document to explain how to use
  146. these (or other archive extraction programs), so please refer to
  147. the documentation for the particular archive extraction program
  148. you have available.

  150. Having extracted the files into a temporary directory, you can now
  151. run "setup.exe". Now see "AFTER INSTALLATION" below.

  153. AFTER INSTALLATION
  154.  
  155. The installation program creates items on the Start Menu for starting
  156. Agile and accessing help and readme files.

  158. UNINSTALLING AGILE
  159.  
  160. To remove an installation of Agile:
  161.     1) Open Control Panel from the Start Menu using the "Settings" sub menu.
  162.     2) Choose "Add/Remove Software" which will open a properties dialog.
  163.     3) Choose "Agile HTML Editor" within the dialog.

  165. IMPORTANT
  166.  
  167. Before you forget, please make a backup copy of the Agile
  168. installation files. If you don't, you are bound to need it!

  205. you are permitted to evaluate Agile. If you adhere to the terms
  206. and conditions described, you are permitted to evaluate Agile for
